Import Playlists from iTunes

Import playlists from iTunes by following these steps:

Firstly, you will need to export your playlist from iTunes in txt format.

1. Select the playlist
2. In iTunes, go to File > Library > Export Playlist
3. Save
4. Open the file in Excel and copy out the CD Code (from the Album column)  and Track Number
   
   OR
   
   Copy out the filenames including the file extension '.wav'
   
   
   
5. Create and save a new txt or csv file with the following headings
   
   
   
   OR 
   
   

Now log into HarvestMedia admin:

1. Go to Engage
2. Either create a new playlist or select an existing one to work with
3. Click the Import Playlist Contents icon 
4. In the pop-up click select to open and add a .txt. or .csv file of your created txt or csv file
5. Click import when the file has loaded
6. The pop-up will show either:

• Successful imports will return a green notification
• Partial imports will return a yellow warning that identifies issues or partially processed tracks
• Failed import will return a red notification that identifies the files issues

The playlist panel can be refreshed to show the imported track in the playlist
