Reports > Version Exception Report

This report gives you a summary of the number of tracks in your libraries which do not have the correct Main/Alt relationship set up.

  1. Search allows for the inclusion of inactive tracks and excluding tracks which are 'exceptions' solely because their version data is not in your pick-list
  2. Total within label

Track listed are due to any of the following reasons:

  1. The tracks do not have any Version data at all.
Note: These tracks will appear at the top level in your SG2 player.

  2. The tracks have Version data which is not marked as 'main', but the tracks are defaulted to 'Main' tracks within your albums.
Note: These tracks will appear at the top level in your SG2 player.

  3. The tracks have Version data which is not marked as 'main', but the tracks do not have an equivalently titled track that is the 'main' version in the album.
Note: These tracks will appear at the top level in your SG2 player.

  4. The tracks have Version data which is not consistent with your version 'Picklist' as specified in the Track Versions page under the System tab.

If you check 'Enforce Alternate Version Name', it will also show tracks whose version data does not match your chosen Picklist in Track Versions.

Harvest Media can run a script on your libraries to set up these relationships automatically. Please contact support@harvestmedia.net for an estimate.
